The code is usually printed on a metal plate or stamped on the compressor housing. The format changes by manufacturer.
By manufacturer
- Garrett: 10-digit code such as 760698-5004S.
- BorgWarner / KKK: format 5439-970-0070 or 53039880139.
- Mitsubishi: format 49335-00640.
- IHI: codes such as VF40, RHF5.
